Off Label Drug InjuriesUse of drugs in ways other than described in the FDA-approved label is called “off-label use”. Although it is legal for physicians to prescribe medications for “off-label” uses, it is not legal for drug companies to promote unapproved uses or distort information abouta medication’s “off-label” benefits. Unfortunately, unapproved uses of prescription drugs can result in serious injury or death. If a physician prescribed any drug for an “off-label” use, it may be important to contact an attorney who can help you protect your legal rights. Please keep in mind that there may be time limits within which you must commence suit. If you or someone you know has been injured as the result of an “off-label” drug prescription, contact us with questions and to discuss how we can help.
